The Amstel Golf Club Ranfurlie Course
The Ranfurlie course at Amstel Golf Club is a private course that invites visitors to play Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday afternoon, Friday, and Sunday. Ranfurlie offers a different type of course from Melbourne’s sandbelt courses. Here you will experience an inland links style course, with far fewer trees and deep grassy rough bunkers. Only half an hour from Melbourne’s CBD you will feel like you have been transported from the city out to the country.

Horsham Golf Club
The highest ranking golf course on our list at number 30 is another day trip from Sydney. Travel inland three hours to Horsham Golf Club. This club was devastated by the bushfires in 2009 and has consistently rebuilt itself since. This club is a superb place to hold conferences and functions. The food is phenomenal, the course is challenging, and the grounds are lovely.
