Catch live screening of Cult Films at the South Bank for the session on the 4th of May. The main objective of this event is to inspire and bring together cross cultural inventions that supplement your life with entertainment. Light Painting Workshop
For the nights of 12th and 13th of May, budding photographers have an opportunity to join Denis Smith, the Master of Light Painting, along with committee expert mentors for a meeting on light painting. It will take place at the historic Spring Hill Reservoirs, against the backdrop of its unassuming structures. It played an important role in the stipulation of freshwater to Brisbane from 1871 to 1962. These workshops are known to be inspirational, inclusive, high energy and exciting. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner; you may leave with dozens of images created by you.
Steam Train Sunday
This family event on the 13th promises to be an adventurous one, as you take a 1-hour stream train ride on Sunday. Science in the Soul- Laurence Krauss And Richard Dawkins
The renowned authors Lawrence Krauss and Richard Dawkins will be touring Australia once again, with shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. On the 16th of May, 2018, they will be sharing the same stage, given their reputation as an international star of science critical thinking and communication. A joint expert talk will be followed by a Q&A session of 30 minutes, and a chance to meet them (only for special ticket holders). Both the scientists, Krauss and Dawkins are unreformed about their thoughts on irrationality, religion and politics in any field.
