Happening from 9th April 2016, The Peasant Prince is the perfect school holiday entertainment for your kids. Based on the true story of Mao’s Last Dancer, the live stage version features a captivating tale of Li Cunxin’s journey to become a dancer. You will learn more about his struggles and how he found strength and hope in ballet, before becoming one of the greatest ballet dancers in the world.

Shaun Parker and Company’s Tut Dance

Tut is a new project from Shaun Parker & Company, which is an acclaimed contemporary dance outfit. Also known as tutting, the energetic new dance craze features rhythmic and highly intricate patterns of the arms, fingers and hands. On-street audiences are also welcomed to participate in this form of urban dancing. This is happening from 7th April 2016 to 22nd April 2016 so mark it down on your calendar!

Taronga Zoomobile

On 13th April 2016, you can visit the Hurstville Museum & Gallery to participate in the Taronga Zoomobile with your kids. It’s a great school holiday activity for children that are aged five to twelve years old, as your little ones will get the chance to interact with and learn more about the native animals of Australia.

Spotlight Prowl Centennial Parklands

Wondering what are night stalkers? Head on down to Centennial Parklands on 15th April 2016 to find out! The park is home to a variety of nocturnal creatures, and when the sun sets, the park comes to life with a flurry of activity. From tawny frogmouths, micro bats, brush tail possums to grey headed flying foxes, you can join the park rangers for a fascinating walk. Hawkesbury Easter Show 2016
