Carriageworks Night Market 2019
Curated by culinary star Kylie Kwong, the Carriageworks Night Market is a highly anticipated event that will be held on 15 February 2019. The night market will feature more than 60 stalls from Australia’s best producers and chefs. In addition to the promising line-up, cooking demonstrations, DJs, and live music will be part of the program too. Some interesting event highlights include:
- Café of the Gate of Salvation: A gospel-inspired acapella singing group that specializes in joyful and soulful African-American music.
- Traditional fire making: The demonstration will be facilitated by Dwayne Banon Harrison, who is the managing director of Ngaran Ngaran Culture Awareness.
- Native Australian seafood cooking: Ben Shewry of Attica will show how seafood can be cooked over a fire.
Tomato Festival 2019
If you are looking for a quirky event, Sydney’s Tomato Festival 2019 will be ideal for you. Yes, many people grow their own tomatoes! From 16 February 2019 to 17 February 2019, there will be a weekend-long festival at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. This is an award-winning festival that’s returning for the sixth year. The tomatoes at the event will be fresh from the vine, liquefied, crushed, sundried, and canned. One of the highlights of the event is a Tomato Lunch that will be served on a 70-metre long communal dining table.
Stomp 2019 at Peter Drayton Wines
Curious to know how it will feel to stomp on grapes in a barrel barefoot? For Sydneysiders and tourists, no one has to go too far for this unique experience. On 17 February 2019, Peter Drayton Wines will celebrate a successful harvest in the Hunter Valley. Join the annual grape stomp and immerse yourself in the picking of Shiraz grapes, stomping on them, and making your own bottled wine. If you are up for the action, ensure that you wear dark-coloured clothes to the event. One can come to the event on an empty stomach because there is a sumptuous buffet breakfast for everyone to enjoy.

From Bondi to the Blue Mountains, one will be mesmerized by the great sights and sounds he or she may come across. The walk will start at Coogee Bay Road at around 930am – just look out for the Arc flag! Don’t forget to take as many insta-worthy pictures as possible along the way.
