The Royal Sydney Easter Show
The Royal Sydney Easter Show began in March, however, this event draws more visitors to Sydney than any other so we thought it worth keeping on the calendar into April as it will run until the 8th of April. On Easter Sunday 6 April 2015 the Royal Easter Parade takes place in Hyde Park. The route goes from Market St – George St – Bathurst St – Elizabeth St. The parade will begin setup and preparation in the park at 10:00 am, with an 11:30 am start and a 2:00 pm finish.
Sydney Royal Dog Competition
Mark your calendar for the Sydney Royal Dog Competition. 6 April 2015 will be the General Specials, and Tuesday and Wednesday the 7th and 8th of April will be the PIAA Sydney Royal Grooming Competition. Enjoy the competitions for agility and obedience handling for seven different groups of dogs.
No Mans Landing
According the the Army âThe meaning of Anzac Day today includes the remembrance of all Australians killed in military operations.
This year’s ceremony will be 100 years. A century of soldiers remembered, that began with Gallipoli Peninsula. To commemorate the fallen soldiers five artists from around the world have created an interactive exhibit. In Darling Harbour for the month of April you can experience No Mans Landing. This artist’s installation will be floating in Cockle Bay and will later in the year travel to Scotland and Germany. The commemoration shows the work between Anzac and the French.
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Letâs do the Time Warp Again!!! Famous lyrics to the sing along dance along show for adults. The Rocky Horror Picture Show first made famous in the USA and later in the UK is coming to Australia and will visit Sydney for the month of April. Shows will be held Tuesday at 7:00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday at 8:00 pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm and Sunday two shows 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Mondays are dark.

Handa Opera
The Critically acclaimed Handa Opera is on at the Sydney Opera House now through 26 April 2015. This massive show is the largest the to be performed at the Opera House to date. 700 people are needed before a single note is sung. This is an epic undertaking and has been executed amazingly.
Les Miseralbes
The musical version of Hugoâs classic Les Miserables is coming to Australia. The show has enjoyed worldwide success. Showtimes for Les Miserables are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday at 7:30 pm. Wednesday 1pm and 7:30 pm. Saturday 2pm & 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are available from $55 and group bookings are available for schools, corporate groups and private groups.
Touch World Cup
The Federation of International Touch will host several events at the end of April. The 2015 TWC Launch is on the 24th of April. Then there will be special activities for ANZAC Day with 100 year anniversary celebrations on the 25th and Trial Games taking place on the 26th.
The Sydney Family Show
For ten days in April the Sydney Family Show will be entertaining children of all ages. Meet Lightning McQueen famous Disney toon. Watch your favourite Looney Toons live on stage. Slide down bumpy slides, jump in a grand inflatable castle, and ride all the rides you can with a wristband. Pet farm and exotic animals, and experience the world famous show bags available with all kinds of goodies for the whole family.
Giselle
Our final event for your to check out is Giselle, the Australian Ballet. This 175 year old ballet is still breaking hearts around the world. This epic love story is told through the art of dance. Madness, the super natural, yearning for love, redemption all the wonderful heartstrings to tug the tears right on out.
