McGuigan Wines is one of the most awarded wineries in the world. International Winemaker of the Year, an Australian Producer of the Year, International Shiraz Trophy, International Semillon Trophy are some of the latest addition to their long list of acclamations. The winery is recently renovated and now open again to welcome guests into a more modern setting. McGuigan Wines lies in the heart of Hunter Valley in Pokolbin. It is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm for wine tastings and wine purchases. Hours of operation and experiences may differ as a covid precaution so please check before going.
Experiences
From four generations, McGuigan Wines is passionate about producing high-quality Australian wines. McGuigan offers premium wine tasting experiences for a group tasting of up to 10 people. All the wine tasting experiences require prior booking.
2020 rose celebration special is the latest experience with a complimentary cheese board and a free bottle of rose. For a more advance experience, book Personal Reserve Package. It is a wine tasting accompanied by a guided winery tour and a bottle of wine to take home. The Tour is fun and informative, where you will learn about winemaking. If you are a fan of vintage wines, go for Hunter though the Ages. It includes a cheese plate from Hunter Valley Cheese Factory, available only for a group of two to five people.
Explore a selection of sparkling, white and red wines from premium cellar door collection through a Gift and Tasting Package. In this package, you will get to take home a bottle of World Trophy Winning Range Bin 9000 Semillon. For a more private and in-depth experience, there is a Premium Private Tasting Experience, guided by a wine expert. McGuigan Zero
Another highlight of McGuigan Wines is their delicious zero alcohol wines. McGuigan Zero is a range of zero-alcohol wines offering the experience of a full-strength wine for those who do not consume alcohol. These alcohol-free wines have the high-quality characteristic of real wine, minus the alcohol. The range includes Sparkling, Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Shiraz with zero alcohol. These range of wines are not only lower in calories than other soft drinks but is also free of gluten, additives, artificial sweetener and refined sugar.
