Get to The Australian Open with Bus Charter!
While the Australian Open is a major attraction for tennis fans, not everyone will want to watch tennis all day for that period of time frame. This is especially true for those that have families, as kids and teenagers often will need a little more to entertain them.
For this, there is a very good value solution. A Ground Pass ticket is not just for catching the tennis action. It covers up to four members of the family and costs less than AUD$100. This ticket gets you into the Grand Slam Oval and also Garden Square, making sure there is more to do than just watching the tennis.
What Activities are Included with a Ground Pass?
Well, obviously if you are considering this, then it would help to know what you will get. So, here are a few of the highlights:
- MLC Autograph Island
- MLC Tennis Hot Shots
- MLC Fan Zone
- Kids Tennis Day
- Merchandise
These alternative activities to the Australian Open Tennis all make for a nice change during the event, or at least help to fill up the free periods between games.
MLC Autograph Island
Children get to actually meet and be inspired by their favourite tennis stars. Of course, this also come with the change to grab some autographs. However, it is only for eight days at the start of the Australian Open. You can find the event in the Tennis Hot Shots Mini Courts, over in Garden Square.
MLC Tennis Hot Shots
Families benefit from the knowledge of local coaches, while enjoying tennis for themselves. Information for the Tennis Australia’s kids starter program is available too and this is open until the first day session match.
MLC Fan Zone
This can be found in the Grand Slam Oval. Here the kids can burn off some energy by actually getting involved in tennis themed activities and learn about how they can become future stars. These are tennis themed, but not all directly connected. The event also has some great wine bars, beer gardens and live music on offer for adults.
Kids Tennis Day
This is normally happening in Garden Square. Right, it does contain tennis-related activities, but also some amazing entertainment too. A special show of top players and other TV stars help to keep the little ones amused.
Australian Open Shop
This doesn’t really need explaining. However, if you are here, why not get a few mementoes? So, head to the Australian Open Shop. There are gifts, clothes and souvenirs for men, women and children. Don’t go home with nothing, pick up a nice surprise for those that didn’t make it to the open.
Of course, if you really hate tennis, then the city will be full of other events while there is a tourism boom in the area. So, you can expect to find plenty of festivals, events, special tours and activities nearby. Another key issue you have to think about is your transport to the Australian Open. If you are going in a large group, then it will be wise to consider minibus hire or coach bus charter so that everyone can get to the event in style and in comfort. Whatever it is, the Australian Open will be really fun for the entire family!
